Elizabeth Kaselitz

Elizabeth Kaselitz is a current PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health in the Department of Behavioral and Community Health Sciences. Elizabeth has an extensive background in research regarding how social factors influence health outcomes. She worked as a research project manager for the University of Michigan for 10 years and received her Masters in Social Work from UM in 2009. Her strongest research interests are in maternal and neonatal health, health and human rights, social and verbal autopsy methods, global health, and community engagement and empowerment in health policy planning. Elizabeth played a crucial role in the initial development of the Art Heals Pittsburgh project by establishing connections with local artists and conducting insightful interviews.
